This permanent exhibit celebrating the history of auto racing in America draws die-hard racing fans and total track novices alike. So we devised 23 unique media experiences to help visitors of all (racing) stripes find or deepen their relationship to the sport–because opening the door for a diverse audience is where our creative rubber hits the road.
This interactive quiz reveals all the ways someone can be part of auto racing, and with multiple programmatic variants it’s infinitely adaptable. Visitors answer a randomized series of questions and, based on their answers, they get assigned one of the many race-day roles.

Pit crews are the well-oiled machines that keep those other well-oiled machines racing. This exhibit tells the story of Brehanna Daniels, NASCAR’s first female African American pit crew member, to shine a light on the perfectly orchestrated behind the scenes work these crews do.

This immersive auto shop replica gives visitors a holistic view of the Ford 2016 GT. From design and fabrication to aerodynamics and performance, each element offers a unique entry point into this 24-Hours of Le Mans-winning vehicle.
These two interactives showcase the design and build of the car. The Project Board media showcase lets visitors engage with a real project design board, inviting them to follow the car’s journey from creative tinkering to careening around track. Triptych, a dynamic media collage, showcases the collaboration between designers, engineers, mechanics, and everyone else who has a hand in its realization.
This seven-screen media exhibit celebrates the culmination of the design and build processes by inviting visitors into the driver's seat on race day. Motion graphics and choreographed cuts combine with a driver’s POV track footage and telemetry data to create an immersive experience that’s all the more exciting now that visitors know all the work it took to get there.

This touchscreen interactive lets guests compare the Ford GT’s design and aerodynamics to road vehicles like semis or pickup trucks.
