The Delta Flight Museum invites visitors from all over the world to immerse themselves in aviation history, learn about an iconic brand and its people, and explore the future of flight. As part of the museum’s major exhibitions refresh we created a cinematic pre-show experience.
Sophisticated motion graphics, archival footage, and custom animation combine with 270° visuals, bespoke musical scoring, and a stirring narrative to take visitors on a journey to places they may have only dreamed about. The film culminates in a dramatic reveal of an actual Delta aircraft, creating a sense that the Delta Flight Museum is where dreams take flight.
BT also developed an array of bite-sized media pieces to build whimsy into the guest experience. In the Engine Gallery, guests walking under actual airplane engines displayed overhead trigger projections that cast an animated line drawing of that engine along with its relevant specs onto the ground.
When guests press the door plates on the Hangar Doors the frosted glass clears to reveal archival imagery of people working in different Delta machine shops. We used AI to lightly enhance the photos with a bit of motion to show the vibrant day-to-day life of past employees. Delta’s success today is the sum total of its people through the ages, and bringing them to life in this subtle, realistic way reaffirms and celebrates their relevance.
